RestoreSavedPreset() - Restore the Saved Preset Function

This function will send a restore saved preset message (OpCode 0x67) onto the network returning all devices in that area to the preset saved by the SaveCurrentPreset() command. (OpCode 0x66)+ This command will affect all sensors, button stations, and load controller outputs for that area.

This is not to be confused with the program preset messages. (OpCodes 0x08 and 0x09) The SaveCurrentPreset() command will store the preset number to be restored later. It does not reprogram the current levels to the preset table in the load controllers. The RestoreSavedPreset() command should also not be confused with the ResetPreset() which returns the light levels to the current active preset.

Syntax

RestoreSavedPreset(A=x,J=x)

Parameters
  • "A" is the area number (0-255) - Default of 1

  • "J" is the join level (0x00-0xFF) - Default is 0xFF

Any parameter that is omitted will be replaced with the default value.
You can only use fixed values, decimal or hex, in functions. You may not reference tilde memory, persistent memory locations, or ports. However, you can use constants as they are just place holders for fixed values.

You can use the commands Area= Command, and Join= Command to modify the default value for parameters in this function when you do not specify them.

Example

Simple standard use of the SaveCurrentPreset() and RestoreSavedPreset() functions. Join is omitted so the default value is used.

{
SaveCurrentPreset(A=4) //Store the current preset for area 4 so we can restore it later.
Delay(.1)
Preset(A=4,P=4) //Turn off the lights. We can use the resume command to restore them back to the previous preset.
Delay(.1)
RestoreSavedPreset(A=4) //Restore the lights back to the saved preset from before we turned the lights off.
}
