Advanced

Sign On

This diagnostic function checks the button by sending a DyNet sign-on message to the network.

Event Control

Remotely triggers an event on a different device on the network.

Property Description

Control type

Enable, Disable, or Trigger an event when the button is pressed.

Device Code

Identifies the target device type.

Box number

Identifies the target device.

Event number

Identifies the event on the target device.

Panic

Property Description

Panic

If True, sets the selected area to panic mode when the button is pressed, raising all dimming levels to 100% and locking UI controls for that area.
If False, disables panic mode when pressed (General > Enable when panel disabled must be set to True for the button to work when panic mode is active).

Fade time

The time taken for dimming levels to fade from their current setting to 100%.

Panel enable / disable

Property Description

Enable Panel

Enables (True) or disables (False) the keypad.
If True, ensure that General > Enable when panel disabled is also set to True.

DyNet mute

Set Join level

Dynamically modifies the native join of UIs/sensors in an area. The Logical Address > Area/Join button properties determine which devices in which area are affected.

Property Description

Join Level

Targeted devices in the specified area are set to this native join value (0-255) when the button is pressed.

DyNet1 logical messages

This advanced function sends a customized DyNet logical message over the network.
We strongly recommend consulting with Philips Dynalite before attempting to use this.

Channel Level

Channel Level

Property Description

Level (%)

Sets the channel level (brightness)

Fade (rounded to 10 ms)

The time taken to fade to the requested channel level

Off preset

Defines the off preset number for the area. If this preset is recalled, the button’s indicator LED will deactivate.

Color Temperature

This function sets the channel level and colour temperature for compatible tunable white luminaires.

Property Description

Color temperature (Kelvin)

Sets the colour temperature.
Refer to the luminaire specifications for recommended settings.

Set colour temperature only

If True, Level (%) is ignored

Level (%)

Sets the channel level (brightness)

Fade (rounded to 10 ms)

The time taken to fade to the requested channel level

Off preset

Defines the off preset number for the area. If this preset is recalled, the button’s indicator LED will deactivate.

On channels only

If True, message is ignored by channels that are off or at 0%

Increment Channel Level Step

This function increases the channel level by the specified amount within a defined range.

Property Description

Start Level

Sets the lowest light level on the channel (0-255)

End Level

Sets the highest light level on the channel (0-255)

Step

The step size for each increment (default: 5)

Fade (rounded to 10 ms)

The time taken to fade to the requested channel level

Decrement Channel Level Step

This function decreases the channel level by the specified amount within a defined range.

Start Level

Sets the highest light level on the channel (0-255)

End Level

Sets the lowest light level on the channel (0-255)

Step

The step size for each decrement (default: 5)

Fade (rounded to 10 ms)

The time taken to fade to the requested channel level

Defines the preset for the button’s ON state.

Time taken to reach the preset level if the button is tapped.

Ramp rate (rounded to 10 ms)

Time taken to ramp up to the required level if the button is held.

Min ramp level (%)

Minimum light level when ramping down.

Double send stop fade

If True, 'stop fade' command is sent twice to compensate for busy networks.

One touch ramp with program

Property Description

On Preset

Defines the preset for the button’s ON state.

Off Preset

Defines the preset for the button’s OFF state.

Fade (rounded to 10 ms)

Time taken to reach the preset level if the button is tapped.

Ramp rate (rounded to 10 ms)

Time taken to ramp up to 100% if the button is held. When the button is released, the current level is saved to the On Preset.

Min ramp Level (%)

Minimum light level when ramping down.

Single direction one touch

Property Description

Preset

Defines the preset recalled by a short button press

Level (%)

Defines the channel level to ramp towards when the button is held.

Fade (rounded to 10 ms)

Time taken to reach the preset level if the button is tapped, or channel level if the button is held.

Off preset

Deprecated, leave this set to Disabled [0]

Instantly drops all channels in the specified area to 0% with no fade time.

Reset Preset

Resets all channels in an area to the currently selected preset, overriding any individual channel level changes that were made since the preset was selected.

Preset offset

Property Description

Preset offset

When button is pressed, all other preset commands are incremented by this amount.

Preset with program

Property Description

Preset

If button is tapped this preset is recalled. If button is held down for three seconds, this preset is overwritten with the current channel levels.

Fade (rounded to 10 ms)

Time taken to reach the ON state.

Increment Multi-preset

Property Description

Start Preset

Each button press increments the preset number up through this range, then loops back. If the current preset is out of range, the first press recalls the Start Preset.
NOTE: The End Preset must be greater than the Start Preset.

End Preset

Fade (rounded to 10 ms)

Time taken to fade between presets.

Decrement Multi-preset

Property Description

Start Preset

Each button press decrements the preset number down through this range, then loops back. If the current preset is out of range, the first press will recall the Start Preset.
NOTE: The End Preset must be lower than the Start Preset.

End Preset

Fade (rounded to 10 ms)

Time taken to fade between presets.

Ramp

Ramp up channel level

Property Description

Fade (rounded to 10 ms)

Time taken to ramp from the current level to 100%.

On channels only

If True, only channels with a level 1% or higher will ramp up.

DyNet Mute

Stops DyNet messages being created by this function.

Double send stop fade

If True, the 'stop fade' command is sent twice to ensure correct operation.

Ramp down channel level

Property Description

Min ramp level (%)

Minimum light level when ramping down.

Fade (rounded to 10 ms)

Time taken to ramp from the current level to the Min ramp level.

On channels only

If True, this prevents channels currently at 0% from ramping up to the Min ramp level.

Double send stop fade

If True, the 'stop fade' command is sent twice to ensure correct operation.

If On channels only is set to True AND Min ramp level is set to 0%, channels ramped down to 0% are still treated as ON by this and the Ramp up channel level function. Other channels that were already at 0% are ignored.

Ramp up colour temperature

Property Description

Max ramp colour temperature (Kelvin)

Sets the maximum (coolest white) colour temperature.
Refer to the luminaire specifications for recommended settings.

Set colour temperature only

If True, only colour temperature is affected.
If False, channel level ramps toward 100% as well.

Fade (rounded to 10 ms)

Time taken to fade from the current level to 100%.

On channels only

If True, only channels at level 1% or brighter are affected.

If True, the 'stop fade' command is sent twice to ensure correct operation.

Ramp down colour temperature

Property Description

Max ramp colour temperature (Kelvin)

Sets the minimum (warmest white) colour temperature.
Refer to the luminaire specifications for recommended settings.

Set colour temperature only

If True, only colour temperature is affected.
If False, channel level ramps toward Min ramp level (%) as well.

Min ramp level (%)

Minimum light level when ramping down.
Only applies if Set colour temperature only is False.

Fade (rounded to 10 ms)

Time taken to reach the Min level if the button is tapped.

On channels only

If True, only channels at level 1% or brighter are affected.

Stops DyNet messages being created by this function.

Double send stop fade

If True, the 'stop fade' command is sent twice to ensure correct operation.

If On channels only is set to True AND Min ramp level is set to 0%, channels ramped down to 0% are still treated as ON by this and the Ramp up colour temperature function. Other channels that were already at 0% are ignored.

Task Local

This function controls a custom task that is stored and executed on the keypad.

Property Description

Start, Pause, or Stop the selected task.

Task

Specifies the task number.

Task Control

This function remotely controls a task on another device.

Identifies the target device type.

Select this option to disable buttons that are not in use.

Goto Page (AntumbraDisplay only)

Goto Page By Number

Page

Specifies a page number to load when the button is pressed. Only pages in the same mode as the current page are available.

Goto Page By Mode

Loads the homepage of the selected mode when the button is pressed.
