Property Editors

SB has the following editors for configuring the DDNG232:

Displayed fields can be sorted in one of two ways by clicking the following icons:
sb icon categorized Categorized
sb icon alphabetical Alphabetical

Initially only the basic fields are shown. To reveal all fields, click the sb icon advanced  Advanced button.

Filter the list by entering all or part of a property name in the Filter box.

Device Properties

This editor displays information about the device and basic configuration properties.

Device Identification
Property Description

Device Name

Used to identify the device.

Location

The physical location of the device.

Description

Other identifying information for the device.

Box number

Physical address used for identification by the Dynalite system.

Serial number

The serial number of the device.

Device location sequence

Identifies devices sequentially on a series network, not required.

Start-up Settings
Property Description

Start delay (rounded to 10 ms)

Delay after start-up before sending sign-on message. Maximum value: 00:30:000 (rounded to 10 ms).

Comms
Property Description

Default to DyNet2

Sets the default messages from the device to DyNet2. Leave this option set to False unless advised by Philips Dynalite.

Route RS-485 bad packets to trunk

Enables the gateway to route bad packets received on the RS-232 network to the trunk port inside a valid DyNet2 message for analysis. Leave this option Disabled, unless advised by Philips Dynalite.

Ports

The Ports editor configures the properties for each port.

Routing

The Routing editor configures routing-related settings and filters for routing messages between the two ports.

No routing configuration changes are required for normal operation.

Switches

The Switches editor defines actions for the gateway’s AUX input.

Tasks

The Tasks editor enables you to create complex tasks from a range of templates, and manually code and edit your own custom tasks from scratch (See Tasks and Events).
