Proximity Sensor
The proximity sensor is used to detect a user approaching the user interface. As the user is detected, the proximity sensor lights the back of the device to produce a lightwash effect that welcomes the user to interact with the device.
General

Timeout |
When no proximity is detected for the period set, perform the Target not detected actions. Maximum valid value = 18 h:12 m:14 s. The default value = 5 seconds. The minimum value = 5 seconds. |
Max proximity time |
Where proximity is constantly triggered, when this time period elapses, the Target not detection actions will be executed. The default value = 45 minutes. The minimum value = 60 seconds. |
Proximity sensitivity |
High/Mid/Low/Default applies a time filter to stop transient electrostatic noise triggering the proximity sensor. High setting (Default) filters the shorter duration noise and Low setting filters longer duration noise. |
Proximity Synchronisation |
When enabled, the device sends messages onto the network for other UIs assigned to the same proximity sensor logical address to synchronise their proximity timeouts. |
