Settings Page

The Settings page includes user management, device configuration, and other useful functions.

Changes made in Preview mode on your PC are not saved or uploaded to the PDTS.

The full range of options below is displayed for Admin (level 4) users only - see Settings Page Restrictions.

The Battery status indicator refers to the onboard battery for the real-time clock, which ensures accurate timekeeping when the PDTS is unpowered.

To access the Settings page on the PDTS:
  1. On the Home page, tap the uic icon settings Settings button.

  2. To access admin/restricted functions, tap the Change user button.

  3. Tap the Admin button (or another user level as needed).

  4. Enter the PIN (The default Admin PIN is 6666).

  5. Adjust settings as required.

  6. To exit the admin state:

    • Tap Change user and select a new user level (The default Normal user PIN is 1234).

    • Tap Back in the top right corner to exit to the Home page, then tap the uic icon logout Logout.

    • If the PDTS has Project Settings > Enable stand-by turned on, timing out to the Stand-by page automatically exits the admin state.

Users

This screen displays all existing users (max 12). Administrators can add (+) new users, and remove (-), adjust Level of access, or Set passcode for existing users.

Adjust any of the displayed options as required.

If Beep is enabled, the PDTS plays a quiet tone when a component is tapped.

Send DyNet 1 should be left unchecked unless advised by Dynalite support.

Scheduler settings

Set the minimum level required for users to access the scheduler.

Device sign-on

Broadcasts a DyNet sign-on message to the network for commissioning purposes.

Reboot device

Resets the PDTS.

Change password

Create a new PIN for the Admin account (or current user level if authorised).

Change user

Switch to a different user level.

Clean screen

Lock the screen for 30 seconds to allow cleaning without accidental button presses.

Enable Matter

Adds the PDTS to your Matter network, enabling channel control from external devices.
(See System Builder > PDTS > Matter Integration)

Date & Time

  1. Select the correct month/year and day from the calendar on the left.

  2. Set the clock on the right to the correct time.

  3. Click the Save button in the bottom right corner to return to the Settings page.

You can switch between 12/24 hour time and US/EU date formatting in Project Settings.
