System Manager Configuration

In Windows, click the sm icon system manager config System Manager Configuration icon to configure SM Server settings.

The System Manager Configuration summary window displays vital information regarding the job, databases, and services running on the server. Job Name shows the job status icon and name of the job.

Job status icons:

sm icon job status 1 Loaded successfully from database

sm icon job status 2 Couldn’t load from database but using an empty job

sm icon job status 3 Failed to load from database

sm icon job status 4 Loaded from file

sm icon job status 5 Failed to load from file

Network Status shows the system connections. Job Database, Trending Database and Alarms & Events Database shows the Database status icons and database names.

Database status icons:

sm icon db status 1 Database OK

sm icon db status 2 Could not get database version (Database may be invalid)

sm icon db status 3 Upgrade Required

sm icon db status 4 Other database failure

The System Manager Configuration tool includes the following information:

Site Settings Button

  • The Site Settings window enables you to configure SM Server and Integrations settings.

Manage Users Button

  • Settings to configure Users, User Roles, Tenancy Groups, and open sessions

Manage DB’s Button

  • Database Maintenance Settings

Request License Button

  • Create license Request for SM Server

Apply License Button

  • Apply received SystemManager.license file to SM Server.

Monitor System Button

  • Open System Manager Monitor window to display Application Log, Network Log, and Command Monitor
