Scheduler

The EG real-time clock enables stored schedules to run from within the EG. Schedules can be based on absolute time or relative to sunrise/sunset. They are defined as simple events or timed events. The gateway executes a series of actions at the start, end, and (for timed events) periodically while the schedule is running.

Refer to Property Editors – Schedules for more information on creating schedules.
  • If you have System Manager, it is simpler to create your schedules in SM which can be pushed down to the EG. Otherwise, schedules created/modified using the web interface or in SB must first be synchronized within SM to be visible.

  • Although you cannot create new items such as schedules, special events or public holidays from the browser window, you can modify existing items that were created in System Builder or System Manager.
